Tap Dancing is a great way of keeping mentally alert and physically fit. Weekly instruction catering for all ability levels from a qualified and experienced dance teacher. Burnie Brae Tappers have performed for various functions at the Centre and in the local community.
Line Dancing – with instruction from an experienced teacher, Brett Jenkins, this activity is aimed at keeping fit in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere. Weekly instruction catering for all ability levels.
Clogging – a percussion dance with notable similarities to Irish and Highland dancing. It is suited to anybody and everybody, young and older with different levels catered for from beginners to more advanced.
A Line Dancing Social is held at the Centre on a monthly basis.
Old Time/New Vogue Social Dance is held twice a month on a Friday evening.
Sunday Old Time/New Vogue Social Dance is held at the Centre on a monthly basis with music provided by a live band.
Dance Moves – Social Dance classes are held in the auditorium on a weekly basis. Classes are conducted by an accredited, experienced dance instructor and are designed to be fun and socially engaging. All welcome
