Proudly sponsored by Kedron Wavell Services Club
With the ever increasing costs of living and the limited resources available to some aged pensioners, Burnie Brae have created an initiative called Project Pantry. This service provides staple foods and products to Seniors through a monthly Market Day. Conducted each 1st Saturday of the month, the Market Days have proved very popular with local pensioners eager to take advantage of the monthly boost to their grocery budget. This service could not continue without the generous support of our wonderful team of committed volunteers, our major sponsor Kedron Wavell Services Club, and the many local businesses and schools who have assisted with food drives and donations.
Entry to the Market is $5.00 and due to space limitations and to ensure adequate supply, participants are asked to register their attendance each month. We are also able to assist with transport within the local area, if required.
If you are an aged pensioner wishing to come to our monthly Market Day, would like to become a Project Pantry volunteer, or find out how you can donate, please contact Deb Underdown or Donna Bowering on 3624 2121.

The focus of this program is promoting and mentoring clients towards confident independence.
