PROJECT PANTRY - come along to our monthly Market Day for Aged pensioners
Project Pantry Market Days
Numbers are steadily climbing for our monthly Project Pantry Market Day. Reports from attendees have been very positive, with many people expressing their appreciation of the quality and range of the items available.
We continue to be grateful for the ongoing support of local schools and businesses. Most recently, we would like to acknowledge the fantastic effort of Virginia State School community who generously donated a large quantity of food and personal care products, with students also assisting with the packing of food hampers and fruit and vegetables. The consistent and generous support of those who regularly give to Project Pantry is quite overwhelming.
It is wonderful to see the community giving to support the needs of others and without your generous help, this service could not continue. All donations of both perishable and non-perishable food items, along with personal care items for distribution at our monthly Market Days will be greatly appreciated.
For more information on how you can help or to donate goods please contact Deb Underdown or Anita Wong in the Burnie Brae Welfare Office on 3624 2121.
We would like to thank Charlie's Fruit Market at Everton Park for their outstanding contribution towards our Market Days
