Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics is held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 11am at the Chermside Pool. Qualified instructors run the classes. 

Fitness Classes

Fitness Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 8.45am - 9.45am. These gentle exercises classes are conducted by qualified instructors to  music and are very popular. Members are encouraged to work at their own pace. 

Gentle Exercise Classes

Classes are held Friday from 3.30-4.30pm.. Classes are aimed towards seniors who may struggle and/or are unable to attend at our more active Fitness Classes for health reasons, but wish to improve their mobility, strength, and balance in a gentle class. Classes are run by trained Steady Steps instructor. 

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a soothing mind and body discipline to music. Join this relaxation on Fridays at 2.00-3.00pm. 

Walking Group

Walking is an almost perfect form of exercise. No equipment is needed, it helps make muscles and bones stronger and it’s FREE! Join in and make new friends. The Burnie Brae Walking Group is registered with the National Heart Foundation Walking Programme.

Group Walking times and locations are:

Marchant Park, Aspley - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday - 5pm

7th Brigade Park, (meet behind Kedron Wavell RSL) - Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 5pm
