Respite

This service allows the carer a break by providing day activities, outings, entertainment and companionship for the care recipient.

Centre Based Day Care

This service provides the client with social contact at our Respite Centre. It includes a range of activities, entertainment and outings, Morning Tea, Lunch, and Transport to and from the Centre within our designated boundaries. We encourage input from the clients and allow individual choice where possible. If we have a space available and you live outside this area, you may still be able to come if you can make alternative travel arrangements. This services allows carers with an opportunity to take a short break from their caring role

The service operates between 7.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday, whilst the majority of clients are here between approximately 9.30am and 2pm. This can be flexible to meet carer and client needs to the best of our ability.

The cost is currently $15 per day all inclusive.

Anyone can make a referral – you, your family or carer, your doctor or other professional. We will follow this up with you promptly and discuss the situation. An assessment will apply before service can be implemented.
