This service supports both carers and clients by providing a variety of services in their own home.

In Home Respite

This is a service supporting Carers so they may have a break, which might be for a rest or to meet other commitments. Supervision and assistance are provided to the person being cared for (care recipient), even if the carer is still present. Support by a worker may be given at home; to take both carer and care recipient shopping, to appointments or outings; or to take the care recipient on an outing to give the carer a break.

Domestic Assistance

This service provides assistance with basic household chores such as cleaning, washing, meal preparation, unaccompanied shopping, bill paying etc.

 

Anyone can make a referral – you, your family or carer, your doctor or other professional.  A home assessment will apply before service can be implemented. There may be a waiting list however we will inform you and do our best to consider other options in the meantime. Currently we charge $5 per hour with a minimum of 1 hour’s service.
