Lifestyle Facilitator

We are seeking compassionate, open minded and flexible people to join our team at Burnie Brae.

As a Lifestyle Facilitator, you will be involved in assisting the elderly and young people with a disability to remain living independently in their own homes, while maintaining a positive quality of life.  You will provide in home domestic assistance to our clients in the community, with a focus on consumer directed care.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Fully insured & road worthy vehicle
  • Blue Card with a Yellow Card Exemption (or both a Blue Card & Yellow Card) or the ability to obtain
  • High level communication skills
  • Demonstrated, effective problem solving skills
  • A sound knowledge of Brisbane North and surrounding areas
  • Administration skills with attention to detail and accurate data and record keeping
  • An empathetic, friendly, professional and helpful demeanour
  • Experience working with seniors and/or people with a disability will be highly regarded
  • Cert III in individual Support or equivalent would be highly regarded

Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a creative and motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team at Burnie Brae.

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be working with our Marketing Manager to support our marketing strategy across all Burnie Brae services.

Some of the responsibilities will include;

  • Identifying opportunities to improve current marketing processes
  • Work to understand and improve the customer experience journey across Burnie Brae
  • Assist with the creation of press releases, advertising and other marketing requirements
  • Work collaboratively with Managers to identify marketing & communication requirements
  • Support with designing, building and maintaining of social media presence
  • Keep up to date with social media sites, web technologies and digital marketing trends
  • Production of internal and external marketing videos

In addition to the attributes mentioned above, to be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience assisting with new marketing strategies & initiatives
  • Excellent copy writing, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Organisation, multi-tasking, and time management skills
  • Experience working with multiple marketing platforms, including social
  • Experience with desktop publishing and web design
