Customer Service Assistant

We are seeking compassionate, open minded and flexible people to join our team at Burnie Brae. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be involved in assisting the elderly and young people with a disability to remain living independently in their own homes, while maintaining a positive quality of life. You will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries, providing customers with seamless access to current information about Burnie Brae and our suite of community services. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be answering incoming calls from our customers and members, working in a fast paced environment whilst ensuring all data and records are maintained accurately. Our service areas include:

  • Transport, Homecare, Home Maintenance, Day Respite, Members activities and more

In addition to the attributes mentioned above, to be considered for this role you will need:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Customer Contact or equivalent
  • Two years’ experience in a Call Centre or customer service industry.
  • High level communication skills
  • Demonstrated, effective problem solving skills
  • A sound knowledge of Brisbane North and surrounding areas
  • Administration skills with exceptional attention to detail and accurate data and record keeping
  • The ability to obtain and provide a National Criminal History Check
  • An empathetic, friendly and helpful demeanour
  • Experience working with seniors and/or people with a disability will be highly regarded

Lifestyle Facilitator

We are seeking caring, compassionate, open minded and flexible people with a non-judgemental attitude towards working with diverse clients and communities.  You will be required to assist frail older people and younger people with a disability to remain living independently in their own homes and maintain a positive quality of life.  We currently have 3 Roles available:

Lifestyle Facilitator – Domestic Assistance – multiple vacancies

Own reliable vehicle and Drivers Licence, National Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain) are ESSENTIAL requirements of this role, also desirable is relevant experience in working with seniors and/or people with a disability.

Lifestyle Facilitator – Certificate III (Homecare) – multiple vacancies and Lifestyle Facilitator – Certificate III (Day Respite)

Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care/ Home and Community Care/Disability Support/Individual Support, own reliable vehicle and Drivers Licence, National Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain) are ESSENTIAL requirements of this role, also desirable is relevant experience in working with seniors and/or people with a Disability.
