Help with shopping
Group Shopping
Our Transport Service co-ordinates a Group Shopping Service to the following shopping centres:
- Stafford City
- Chermside Markets
- Westfield Shoppingtown Chermside
- Taigum Centro Shopping Centre
Clients are picked up at home and taken to their nearest shopping centre for two hours of shopping, then returned home and helped inside with their purchases.

Supported Shopping
If required, we also offer individual support for clients with a staff member providing transport to and from the shops and assisting with purchase of goods. These outings are both practical and social with the assurance of companionship when needed.
Special Needs Shopping
In the event that clients are unwell or incapacitated and unable to shop themselves, arrangements can also be made for a staff member or volunteer to purchase groceries on behalf of clients.
Eligibility
The service operates within defined geographical areas and by individual assessment. Please check your eligibility with one of our helpful staff.
Cost
To assist with the ongoing costs of maintaining this service, a small fee is charged. Please contact us for more details.
