Burnie Brae Community Services provide centre-based and at-home support to people living in the Brisbane North community who are Seniors, frail and elderly, younger with a disability, or carers. These services are delivered based on a philosophy and culture of client choice, flexibility, functional independence and client-centred care.

Services include a mixture of subsidised support for eligible persons, as well as private fee-paying support for those who aren’t eligible. Services receive funding from the Queensland Community Care Program, funded by the Queensland Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services; the Commonwealth Home Support Program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services; and the Home Assist Secure Program, funded by Queensland Department of Housing and Public Works.

Burnie Brae is a very well managed organisation that is going along in leaps and bounds. There's plenty to do and I would encourage over 50s to get involved.
