Mental health recovery program

Burnie Brae operates a  program called Positive Paces for persons aged 18 years and over, and provides access to support services and a range of fun social activities with a wellness and recovery focus. Our philosophy is based on consumer directed care, and in collaboration with clients and their support networks we provide individualized care promoting independence, recovery, and community connection.

Positive Paces Program includes:

Weekly Afternoon Tea and get together

Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea at Café Connect followed by a different fun activity each week. Activities aim to be therapeutic in nature and may include art, craft, music, dance, wellness workshops and much more.

Night Bites

Night Bites is a monthly cooking evening for participants to learn basic cooking skills while enjoying friendship and fellowship and having dinner with others.

Bus Trips

A monthly Monday outing to a variety of destinations in SE Qld. Morning tea and Lunch included.
