Market Day Front Door Usher
This role involves ushering Project Pantry members into and outside the hall on Market Day. Ushers work as a team with Registration Desk volunteers to coordinate members in the outside seated areas, and on entry into the hall during Market Day.
Foodbank Driver/Foodbank Assistant
This role involves a morning drive (Approx. 2 hour round trip) to and from Foodbank Qld to collect a number of food items. The Assistant volunteer works together with the Driver to collect supplies and loads items in and out of the Ute. Minimal heavy lifting is involved and drivers must be over 25 years of age.
Market Day Delivery Driver /Assistant
Project Pantry Market Day Delivery Drivers and Assistants are needed for delivering food hampers to Project Pantry members living in the North side community.
Market Day Floating Volunteer
This role involves accompanying Project Pantry members around the centre during Market Day. Floaters assist our members on the day and provide extra support. This can include helping members with their bags/trolleys to their vehicles.
Project Pantry Shed Assistant
Project Pantry Shed assistants are needed for packing Emergency Food Hampers, organising the storage of goods, maintaining and organising the storage of these goods, as well as some cleaning duties. During the month tasks may vary according to preparation needed with the Market Day. Times can be flexible.
