Burnie Brae’s Club Respite offers a progressive safe haven for older Seniors who require extra support. Located at 60 Kuran Street, Chermside.
Morning tea, lunch, and transport to and from the Centre (within designated boundaries) are included as part of the daily fee.

Catered for independent, fun-loving seniors who require limited support and assistance. The day involves outings to a wide range of venues and locations with opportunities to meet new people.
Tuesday – Friday Day Respite
Suitable for frailer Seniors who require extra support from our caring staff and volunteers. The activities are mainly based at the Centre but clients also enjoy bus trips to interesting and appropriate Brisbane venues. This program supports families and carers and provides a familiar and welcoming environment for our clients.

The Burnie Brae Men’s Group was formed in February 2009 to provide suitable, specific social activities for men. Modeled like a club, the men who regularly attend have ongoing input into the outings and activities that interest them, based on what they enjoyed before retirement and also their current interests
