Tree of Life – Music & Movement Program

If you’ve always wanted to do some improvised dance or improvised music, Tree of Life: Seniors Music and Movement Program is a four-week workshop program combining exercises in meditation, music-making and movement facilitated by a collective of highly skilled and experienced teaching artists.

The program will be led by Dr Anthony Garcia, the co-founder and artistic director of Sounds Across Oceans. He is an accomplished guitarist, composer, educator and producer dedicated to building bridges between cultures and communities through innovative arts programming.

No prior dancing knowledge needed. Rudimentary or intermediate knowledge of how to play an instrument is encouraged. All styles and sounds invited, feel welcome to bring your own instrument.

The workshops are designed for participants to meet for two hours a week across four concurrent weeks and it is recommended that you to come to all sessions.
