E-Book Presentation

Presented by Chermside Library and facilitated by Burnie Brae Tech Tutors

Your Brisbane City Council Library membership allows you free access to a range of online library content including books, audiobooks, comics, music, films and magazines. These are all available to download or stream to your device or PC, from the comfort of your own home.

Discover how you can use this wonderful online resource with a step-by-step guide and examples from your local librarian, with extra hands-on help and support from our Burnie Brae Tech Tutors.

Presentation aims:

  • Learn how to access, navigate, and search the eLibCat
  • How to use essential apps such as BNELibraries, Borrow Box and Libby
  • Explore free online library resources
  • Understand how to stream and download e-books and e-audiobooks

What you need to bring:

  • Your library membership barcode number (on the back o your library card) and PIN number
  • Your own device (smartphone, tablet, eReader, or laptop)
  • Your Google Play or Apple Store password and login details
  • You may also be required to set up an account using a valid email address

If you're not a library member, you can join for free at any Brisbane Council Library. You need to show proof of your current address and photo identification (or proof of signature). Participant numbers are capped for this event.
