Theatre Trip

Manon Ballet Event Banner

A blockbuster classical ballet about possession, desire, and the allure of wealth.

Presented at QPAC - Manon is a quintessential romantic tragedy that journeys from decadent 18th-century Paris to sultry New Orleans. The story follows a young French peasant girl conflicted by love and a yearning to be free from poverty. The QPAC performance is regarded as one of Sir Kenneth MacMillan’s most iconic works and also sees Li Cunxin AO return to the stage alongside his wife, former dancer and celebrated author, Mary Li.

This theatre production is intended for mature audiences. It contains adult themes and sexually explicit content that some may find confronting.
