Home Care Packages are government-funded programs that provide a range of support services to help older Australians live independently at home for as long as possible. These packages are designed to provide assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and social support, among other services, allowing individuals to remain in their familiar environment while receiving the care they need.

Our Services

We understand that every individual is unique, and we strive to provide services that are tailored to meet their goals and aspirations. Our Home Care Packages cover a wide range of services to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our clients. These services may include:

• Household tasks, including cleaning, meal preparation and laundry
• Home modifications and assistive technologies to enhance safety and accessibility
• Transport assistance for medical appointments, grocery shopping and social outings
• Nursing and allied health services, including medication management and therapy sessions
• Social support and companionship to reduce isolation and promote social engagement
• Respite care to provide temporary relief for family caregivers

Burnie Brae is an approved provider, delivering level 1 - 4 Home Care Packages. Please note: level of funded services and supports available is dependent on eligibility, assessments and individual circumstances.

What costs/fees are involved?

We believe in transparency when it comes to fees associated with care and package management. We will clearly explain any costs involved and offer options to increase your budget capacity if needed. We never charge exit fees, providing flexibility should you wish to cancel or transfer your package.
