Staying active is a key part of managing Parkinson’s, helping to improve movement, balance, coordination and overall wellbeing.

At Healthy Connections, our specialised Pump It for Parkinson’s Program, led by our qualified Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists supports you to stay independent, confident and engaged in everyday life.

Our program combines education and guided exercise to help you manage your condition through safe, effective movement and positive lifestyle changes.

If you are newly diagnosed or have been living with Parkinson’s for some time, we can help you build confidence and develop lasting habits to support your health and quality of life.

  • Living with any stage of Parkinson’s disease
  • Experiencing changes in mobility, balance or coordination
  • Unsure how to exercise safely and effectively with Parkinson’s
  • Looking for structured support in a safe, supervised environment

What We Offer

Our program is designed to support your long-term wellbeing through personalised care and expert guidance.

Expert-led management

  • Individualised assessment and tailored exercise program with progress tracking
  • Education on managing motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson’s
  • Supervised, safe and engaging exercise sessions
  • Small group setting for personalised support and encouragement
  • Community-based, modern facility designed for comfort and accessibility

Program Details

Schedule: Thursdays, 2:00pm
Group Size
: Max 4 Participants
Program Cost:
$40 per session for private-paying clients (funding & rebates available, see below)
Getting Started:
New clients are required to complete an initial Exercise Physiology assessment ($125), which includes your assessment and orientation session before joining the group.
Location: Healthy Connections Clinic at the Burnie Brae Centre - 60 Kuran Street, Chermside
