You can join us for exciting outings to explore local attractions, take part in a wide variety of activities at our centre, or even enjoy a friendly visit in the comfort of your own home.

• Centre-based day respite: Enjoy a variety of activities tailored to your interests at our welcoming centre, from arts and crafts to music and games.
• Supported outings: Explore new places and enjoy regular outings to local attractions, shops, parks and more - all with the support you need.
• In-home respite: If you prefer staying at home, our team can visit you to provide companionship, engage in activities, or simply offer social support to brighten your day.

Our respite services also gives carers the opportunity to relax, catch up on personal tasks, enjoy hobbies, or simply recharge, knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

Centre-Based Respite (Club Respite)

At our respite centre, we offer a range of activities designed to suit clients' interests and abilities. Located at the Burnie Brae Centre - 60 Kuran Street, Chermside.

In-Home Respite Care

Stay connected at home with our in-home respite care service. Our friendly team is committed to providing emotional and social support, ensuring you enjoy a positive and fulfilling experience in the comfort of your own home. We bring companionship and engagement directly to you, helping you stay connected without leaving your familiar surroundings.

Enjoy meaningful conversations, fun activities and the chance to share your hobbies and interests with someone who genuinely cares. We offer flexible scheduling to suit your needs, whether it’s a regular visit or just when you need that extra social boost.

Funding & payment options

Funding is available for supported outings, centre and in-home respite care through:

• Your Support at Home (previously Home Care Packages)
• The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) with an appropriate referral
• We also accept, private, full-fee paying clients
