Being a Burnie Brae Member is more than just access to services – it’s about belonging to a welcoming community where you can connect, learn and have fun at any stage of life.

Members can enjoy dance, fitness and social activities, attend events, day trips and information sessions, and take part in technology lessons to stay connected.

All of these are held at our Community Centre, 60 Kuran Street, Chermside, in a warm, inclusive environment.

Community Spaces

At our Chermside Community Centre, everyone is welcome to relax at Café Connect or wander through the plant nursery. Our social spaces are designed to bring people together, and we offer hall hire for community events, activities and gatherings.

Visitors can also access on-site services like the podiatrist and hair salon and our food support program, Project Pantry, available to support the wider community.

Allied Health
Keeping You Active, Strong & Well

Our Healthy Connections allied health team provides expert support to help you maintain strength, mobility and overall wellbeing - whether at our Chermside clinic or in your own home across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay.

We offer a range of personalised services tailored to your needs, including Member Exercise Sessions, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Remedial Massage Therapy, Hydrotherapy and Clinical Groups.

Our experienced clinicians provide personalised care with practical strategies and ongoing support to help you achieve your health goals and keep enjoying the activities you love.

Our allied health services can be funded through aged care funding, or privately with rebates available, depending on your needs - learn more.

Burnie Brae’s Care Services are centred on helping you stay living independently, safely and confidently in your own home and community as your needs change.

We offer a holistic suite of tailored supports, including personal care, social support, transport, respite care, clinical care, home maintenance and allied health. Our team work with you provide care that reflects your goals, strengths and preferences - helping you stay safe and happy in the place you call home.
