Our grocery parcels offer everyday pantry essentials at an affordable price, helping you stretch your budget while ensuring you have the basics covered.
Project Pantry is available to community members who hold either a:

Each parcel contains a selection of non-perishable pantry staples such as
pasta, rice, canned vegetables, soups, long-life milk, tea, sauces and personal hygiene items (when available).
Please note: Due to limited storage space, fresh and frozen items may not always be available. We aim to include a variety of items each month, depending on availability.

This small fee helps us continue providing affordable support to the community.
Once your registration for Project Pantry is confirmed with us, you can collect your grocery parcel on the first Wednesday of each month, between 9:30am–11:30am, from the Main Hall at Burnie Brae Centre - 60 Kuran St, Chermside.
Please visit reception first to pay for your parcel ($5 per parcel - cash or card) and present your receipt to volunteers at pickup.
Important
Our team will send you a reminder text before each collection day, so please make sure your contact details are current.
You must text 0432 088 126 at least one day before your booking if you need to cancel.
If you miss more than two pick-ups without notice, your registration will be cancelled to help the program run smoothly.

We warmly welcome donations of non-perishable grocery and hygiene items, which help us continue providing affordable food parcels to community members who are doing it tough.
Cash donations are also greatly appreciated - just $5 can help us fill a grocery parcel.

Donations can be made anonymously or you’re welcome to leave a message with your donation that we can share with our community.
Every contribution, big or small, helps support someone in our community. If you have a large quantity of donations, please get in touch so we can organise delivery or collection.
