Project Pantry
Our grocery parcels provide everyday pantry essentials at a low cost, helping stretch your budget while making sure you’ve got the basics covered.
If you receive one of the following, you may be eligible for support through Project Pantry:
Disability Support Pension
Age Pension
Veteran Pension
Centrelink Health Care Card
Not sure if you qualify? Contact our team and we’ll help you work it out.
Each parcel contains a selection of non-perishable grocery and hygiene items, such as:
Pasta, rice and noodles
Canned foods (vegetables, soup, beans, etc.)
Long-life milk
Tea and coffee
Sauces, spreads, or pantry staples
Soap, toothpaste or other hygiene items (subject to availability)
Please note: Due to limited storage, we are generally unable to include fresh, frozen, or refrigerated items.
We do our best to include a variety of items each month based on availability.
We welcome donations of non-perishable grocery and hygiene items, which help us continue to provide affordable food parcels to those doing it tough.
Cash donations are also appreciated - even a small amount can go a long way in helping someone put food on the table. You can donate in person at Burnie Brae Reception, or over the phone by calling 3624 2110.
Every contribution, big or small, helps support someone in our community. Thank you for your kindness.
