In this presentation, we will discuss the importance of eye movements and balance.
Eye movement is attributable to a broad network of circuitry in the brain, and balance is attributable to the integration of three important senses – vision, vestibular (inner ear) and proprioception (skin and muscle). Eye movements and balance are somewhat interlinked, as they share similar neuronal networks.
We will also discuss how we might prolong important functions, maintain dependence where we can, continue life qualities and perhaps delay the potential future decline.
