FAQs
Each grocery parcel is just $5.
Payments can be made:
This small fee helps us continue providing affordable support to the community. To ensure as many people as possible can benefit, parcels are limited to one per person, per month.
Once your Project Pantry registration is confirmed, you can collect your grocery parcel on the first Wednesday of each month between 9:30am and 11:30am from the Burnie Brae Hall at 60 Kuran Street, Chermside.
On arrival, please visit Reception first to pay ($5 per parcel, cash or card accepted) and receive your receipt. You’ll then present this to our volunteers at collection. Our friendly team will be there to make the process simple and welcoming.
We’ll send you a friendly reminder text before each collection day, so please ensure your contact details are kept up to date. If you can’t make your pick-up, please text 0432 088 126 at least one day in advance to cancel so we can reallocate your parcel.
To keep the program running smoothly for everyone, please note that missing more than two pick-ups without notice may result in your registration being cancelled. You’re welcome to re-register in the future if you still need access to the program.
We warmly welcome donations of non-perishable grocery and hygiene items, which help us continue providing affordable food parcels to community members who are doing it tough.
Cash donations are also greatly appreciated - just $5 can help us fill a grocery parcel.
