If you enjoy good company, beautiful scenery, wildlife and a relaxed day out with great company, then our trip to Osprey House Environmental Centre in Griffin is for you!

We’ll kick things off with morning tea at Rocks Café, before heading to Osprey House for a short, guided walk through the beautiful surrounds and a chance to learn more about the local wildlife and environment. We’ll also watch some amazing osprey footage and discover more about these incredible birds. Afterwards, take your time to wander, explore and enjoy the views before we head back to Kedron Wavell, where you’re welcome to grab lunch at your own expense.

Important Information

The bus departs and returns to Kedron Wavell Services Club (21 Kittyhawk Dr, Chermside). The club is located close to Burnie Brae Centre and provides free parking. Please park at the back of the KWSC carpark and wait for the bus there (view map).

Check when booking whether a meal is included in the ticket price and if so, please advise of any dietary requirements. A day prior to departure, you will receive a reminder text message.

We ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time and note that day tour return times are approximate only. Your contact details will be kept with the bus driver in case of an emergency.

Tickets are refundable if the event is cancelled. The trip is subject to reaching minimum ticket sale requirements and health directives.

Supported Outings

Participants must be independently mobile for this day trip, as support staff will not be present and we cannot accommodate mobility aids. Supported outings are available through Burnie Brae Club Respite.
