Home Care Packages have officially transitioned to the new Support at Home program, designed to make in-home care simpler, more flexible and better tailored to your needs.
When you or a loved one require extensive support to maintain independence at home, a Home Care Package Level 4 provides the highest level of care available.
What's included in Aged Care Package Level 4?
Extensive support for individuals with significant care needs is provided through these packages. A Level 4 Home Care Package includes a variety of services, such as:
Comprehensive assistance with all aspects of daily living and personal care.
Extensive support with household chores, laundry, and meal preparation.
Regular and structured social activities and engagement.
Assistance with all types of essential travel, including medical appointments.
To improve safety and accessibility at home, major modifications like ramps and stairlifts can promote independence and create a comfortable living environment tailored to individual needs.
Our qualified professionals including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Massage Therapists and Occupational Therapists, support your health journey by focusing on restoring strength, improving mobility and overall wellness.
Our Registered Nurses can help you treat and monitor medical conditions at home including wound care and management, assistance with medications, general health and other assessments.
Support for individuals with complex health condition including managing chronic illnesses and coordinating with medical teams to ensure comprehensive care.
What's not included in Home Care Package Level 4?
You can access various services based on your budget and needs. If you don’t require help with cleaning, shopping or personal care, you might choose to use your funds for clinical care or allied health services. Keep in mind that if you spend your entire budget there, you may not have enough resources left for extensive medical care or specialised equipment.

If you require additional services beyond what your Level 4 package includes, Burnie Brae allows you to privately "top up" your package budget with your own funds.
