Holiday Season Operating Hours at Burnie Brae

The festive season is just around the corner, and we know many in our community rely on Burnie Brae services throughout this time. To help you plan ahead, we’ve put together a simple guide to what’s open, what’s paused and when your favourite services will be back.

Our goal is to make sure you stay supported, connected and cared for over the holidays - with only a few changes to operating hours across our Centre. Here’s what you can expect:

Services Open (Closed Only on Public Holidays)

Club Respite, Community Transport, Centre Reception, Community Engagement Hub (in-person and phone) and the Finance Team

Closed from 1pm Wednesday 24 December and on public holidays only:

• Christmas Day - Thursday 25 December

• Boxing Day - Friday 26 December

• New Year’s Day - Thursday 1 January

In-Home Care

Open throughout the holiday season, providing essential services only on public holidays.

Café Connect & Healthy Connections

• Closing: 1pm on Wednesday 24 December 2025

• Reopening: Monday 5 January 2026

Hair Salon & Podiatrist

• Closing: Tuesday 23 December 2025

• Hair Salon Reopens: Tuesday 6 January 2026

• Podiatrist Returns: Monday 5 January 2026
